Cancellation and Refund Policy
General cancellation and refund principles for DATA OVEN discovery, development and ongoing service engagements.Effective: 14 July 2026Project-specific terms apply
Every engagement differs in scope, reservation of capacity, third-party cost and delivery stage. The accepted proposal or agreement defines the applicable payment milestones, cancellation rights and refund treatment. If it conflicts with this general policy, the signed project agreement controls.
Before work begins
A written cancellation request received before scheduled work begins may be eligible for a refund of amounts not already committed, less payment-processing charges, non-cancellable third-party costs and any expressly stated booking or discovery reservation fee.
After work begins
Completed discovery, design, development, configuration, meetings, reserved delivery capacity and delivered milestones are not refundable. If an engagement is cancelled part-way through, DATA OVEN will account for completed work, committed capacity, approved expenses and third-party obligations before determining whether any unapplied balance remains.
Ongoing services
Support and ongoing-partner engagements follow the notice period and renewal terms in the applicable agreement. Fees for a period that has started, reserved capacity and work already performed are normally non-refundable unless the agreement states otherwise.
Third-party charges
Licences, hosting, messaging, API usage, advertising, app-store fees and other third-party purchases are governed by the relevant provider and are not refundable by DATA OVEN once committed.
How to request cancellation
Send a written request to shubham@dataoven.com with the project reference, reason and requested effective date. DATA OVEN will confirm receipt and explain the contractual and financial position before closing access or work.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
