Data Deletion Instructions
How to request deletion of eligible information held by Data Oven or Data Oven Connect and how connected third-party data is handled.Last Updated: 12 August 2026What this page covers
This page explains how a Data Oven or Data Oven Connect user, customer, authorized organization representative or affected person can request deletion of eligible information held by Data Oven. It is public and does not require a Data Oven Connect login.
Information that may be eligible
Depending on how the services were used and the requester’s authority, a request may cover some or all of the following information held by Data Oven:
- Data Oven account or profile information and related organization, team or membership records.
- Customer-controlled contacts, consent records, conversations and message records stored in Data Oven Connect.
- WhatsApp/Meta connection information, connected business and phone-number identifiers, and associated protected tokens.
- Message templates, campaigns, recipient status and related operational records.
- WhatsApp Forms / Meta Flows information and Flow responses held as part of message or automation records.
- Automation configuration, runs, webhooks and integration-related information.
- Support cases, project enquiry information and identifiable application, audit, security or usage records where deletion is appropriate and legally permitted.
How to request deletion
Email shubham@dataoven.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Provide the minimum information reasonably needed to locate the relevant records: the account email, organization or business name, and—only when necessary—the relevant connected account or support-case reference. Briefly describe which Data Oven service and categories the request concerns.
Do not email passwords, access tokens, full message histories, payment credentials, government identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information. Data Oven will ask for additional information only if it is reasonably required to locate the record or verify authority.
Verification
Before changing or deleting account, organization or business data, Data Oven may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity, account ownership or authority to act for the relevant organization. This protects customers, team members and affected contacts from unauthorized deletion.
What happens after a valid request
After a valid request is verified, Data Oven will identify eligible information and delete or anonymize it as appropriate. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud or abuse prevention, dispute resolution, audit integrity, or protected backup and recovery processes. Data Oven does not promise immediate removal from every backup or a fixed response period where no approved period has been established.
Meta, WhatsApp and other connected services
Deleting information from Data Oven Connect does not necessarily delete information independently controlled or retained by Meta, WhatsApp, Google or another connected provider. Those providers have their own systems, retention practices and request processes. A requester may also need to use the relevant provider’s settings or support process for data controlled independently by that provider.
Disconnecting integrations
Where available, an authorized customer may disconnect an integration in Data Oven Connect or revoke Data Oven Connect permissions through the connected provider’s own business or account settings. Disconnection stops future authorized use of the connection but does not automatically erase all records already held by Data Oven or the provider. A separate deletion request may still be needed.
Questions and assistance
For deletion requests, privacy questions or account-related assistance, contact shubham@dataoven.com. Include only the information needed to identify the relevant account or organization.
