Common questions

Page ranges, output modes and local PDF splitting.

Is my PDF uploaded for splitting?+

No. Page previews, page selection, PDF creation and ZIP packaging all happen inside your browser.

How should page ranges be written?+

Use commas between selections, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. Every page may appear only once, so overlapping ranges are rejected clearly.

What is the difference between the two output modes?+

Extract selected pages creates one PDF containing every selected page. Separate ranges creates one PDF for each comma-separated range.

Does splitting reduce page quality?+

No. Selected pages are copied from the original PDF rather than rendered into images.
